It was an extraordinary month in Tanzania, most likely my last visit to the country for quite awhile. I reconnected with our Santuri Project team, got caught up on the work of the Tanzanian Heritage Project, and sat in on workshops with the Next Level musicians at the Dhow Academy of Music in Zanzibar and the Alliance Française in Dar es Salaam. I will forever take any opportunity to go back.
